Teacher Training
Both CELTA and IHCTL courses are held in times when vacancies for qualified teachers arise or when a group of student teachers is obtained to run the courses. Trainers for these courses are sent directly by International House - London to conduct the courses.

The Cambridge CELTA

The Cambridge CELTA - The world's most recognised EFL qualification



Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults - is your first step to getting a teaching job anywhere in the world. It is and, unlike many others, not a self-validated TEFL course. It provides speakers of English with good quality in teaching English as a foreign language, and it´s taken by over 10,000 candidates each year.
The course is also suited to those who are already in the profession, but who have no formal or practical teaching qualification. The courses are approved and each one moderated.

IHCTL - The International House Certificate in Teaching Learners

The course's main objective is to introduce trainees to, and help them (re)evaluate and (re)consider the main principles involved in teaching Adult Learners English. The course is not designed with one particular age group in mind. Input sessions cover the complete range of adult learners. The course is validated, and syllabus and assessment criteria are fixed by the International House World Organisation.
